I thought you would never ask!    :rofl2: I'll bring it with me when I bring that front axle down.  Maybe we can fix it, or at least improve it enough to run it.

Need any more parts that I may have here?
I might be in need of a wide rear. You have one with brake issues right? no 3rd needed. We can see what we can do about the setup, but No guarntees, ok?

So the 5.29 third I bought from ga-toy is NOT set up right and has more miles than it was supposed to have had on it.   :maddest:

So my truck is sitting here without a third until I can either salvage this one or find a set of gears...   :headscratch:

If it already has a few thousand miles on it after it was set up wrong you might as well get new ones because they will never be right.   you could probably get away with using them in the front though, unless you have a high pinion diff up there.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Yeah, that's what pisses me off about it the most.  If it really had <200 miles like ga-toy said it did, then even if it was set up wrong I could have possibly fixed it.  Who knows maybe we can do something with it still.

I have one here from a 91.  I'll have to check it out, but I'm thinking the 3rd was making noise or is loose in it.  And yeah someone ganked some of my brake parts off of it.   :dunno:

Its at the ranch, I need to go there and get my parts all rounded up. If I can get my new shed/workshop/labratory/toyota man cave  built I'll have a place to put stuff.

Time to update!!  I finally got my 5.29s installed front and rear and rebuilt the front bumper!  Went wheeling at washita at the end of November, everything worked great.  The 5.29s are NOT low enough for me though...  And my 22R is smoking quite a bit more than it was, so it's time for a rebuild.   :dunno:

So I pulled the 22R engine to freshen it up.  There was a scratch in the number 3 cylinder so I bored it twenty over.
Ordered my master rebuild kit, should be here tomorrow.   :eyebrow:
Porting/polishing a 20R head and intake!!!  Woo hoo!

But I ran into a problem!!!!!!!!!!!!   Can't figure out what color to paint it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha!  Thanks!  I figured the brighter color, the easier it would be to see leaks.  It also brightens up th underhood area and oh yeah, It looks super cool.  haha

I haven't really gotten to break it in yet. So far it seems like it has twice the power of the worn out 22R it replaced and its not even broke in. I'm taking it out to play on Tuesday so I'll have a full report then!

Do tell! Plenty of power!  Need lower gears to go slower. The skinny pedal technique makes for a really rough ride!
