Things got tight here for a while, and I didn't have internet.

But while things where tight, no money to spend on the truck.

All thats really changed, is I got the bench seat upholstered, which I paid for before the show, but took months to actually get done..

And I built a box for the subs I've had for a while.

And it still looks like this.

Last month I bodydropped the Mazda I bagged a while back, which got me pretty much caught up on bills.

And I'm now working on another project, and buying new tools and redoing the garage.

I finally wired up my running lights as my blinkers, so I'm technically legal. And I'm getting ready go switch to an engine driven compressor.

I like the way you cut the bed for the tires to tuck  Are you going to fill over so the tire isn't exposed through the bed or leave it open.

It will get filled, as soon as I find time to work on my own stuff again. Lol.

I don't know if I can afford Matco stuff. Lol. I just bought a bigger used Craftsman box, and I'm trying to fill both of my boxes now though. I could probably use a complete socket set though, 3/8 and 1/2. And I really want a Metric Gear Wrench set.

Man I know that feeling. But I love building trucks. Your truck looks bad ass.

I would cut the door at the body line & mold the lower part to the cab. Maybe even suicide one door.

I can get almost any brand (SK IR CP GP etc) shoot me a PM if you need somthing. Looks sweet bro..............................

^ I'll talk to you next week. I'm about broke right now after spending about $600 on a bender die, dimple dies and a chop saw, but I most definitely want a metric Gear Wrench set. I've wanted one since I got the standard set. Lol.

Got a new (to me) Craftsman box, Milwaukee chop saw, and built myself a small welding table.

And a nice simple cart for my plasma.

Still waiting on parts before I start on the project. But I will be tearing into it tomorrow, after the house appraisers leave and I can make a mess again.

^ That doesn't make sense now. This is the project I meant.

I'm rebuilding the frame under the cab, and building a backhalf.

Anywhere near Moreno Valley? I'm down there a couple times a year. Will be there right before new years.

Honestly, I'm not sure I could sell it. I have so much of myself invested in it, it would be hard to see it go. But I'll build you one. Lol. This is essentially my day job, aside from going to college.

There was a mini truck club up here in the Bay Area called Seductive, probably a different chapter though. First Class mini's, Lil' Trucks Unlimited & there was also Street Life mini's that I was part of & Stylin East Bay that I was a member in.

I removed the exhaust. It was pretty fuxored.

I trimmed up the tube on the collector and cleaned it off so I can weld to it.

It was "D" shaped, so I rounded it out with a hammer and my anvil.

Its not perfect, but I put it up against a spare piece of 2" tube and it fits well enough to weld.

And got a high flow cat.

Now I'm just waiting on the U-bends and the muffler.

Cut the floor a little tonight.

And made new body mounts out back.

They are spaced down 2.50", and yes they are melting. The bushings will be replaced. The mounts just need a little finish work and they are good to go.

Ask away.

Where are you at though, your profile doesn't say. I go to shows in Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona, as well as all parts of California.

Started the backhalf. Its tied in under the cab. Goal is not to see the transition.
