I pretty much built the front suspension on this truck. At one point I had everything cut off the frame rails. But I used some stock components. So 100% scratch built, no. But I plan on doing so pretty soon. Next project will have a 100% scratch built frame, bumper to bumper (so to speak).

Lol yeah! Thanks man.

If you bring your truck here we can do the suspension. I don't care too much to transport my welder, the tank is huge. (Truck has no bed, Mustang, well, its a Mustang.)

I'm registering at the JC this Monday. I'll go both semesters this year. I don't do the summer school. Too much class too little time. They cram a 17 week class into like 8 weeks.

Nice, that thing is coming along. What are your plans for where the rear tire comes through the bed? Are you going to cover that up somehow or leave it open? That shade of blue looks sweet on your little mini

Thanks.

I'm going to shave the entire bedside to match the cab.

Also I want to thank AaronB for finally giving up that tailgate.

Hey Twisted,  is that Easy St./ Shamrock Rd. exit just south of Yreka off of I-5?  It looks really familiar from my time growing up around there.

Last summer we took a road trip and got a picture of a Hooker Creek roadsign.  Hmm.....  I wonder how that got it's name?

I'm really looking forward to seeing these bedsides shaved.  You don't see that too often.

Yes it is. And I actually saw Hooker Creek on the way back and laughed. Was driving that time so I didn't catch a picture.

So how did this thing do on the highway?

Quite well. Did 70-75 the whole way at an average of 27 MPG. I was getting about 30 on the straights. Its the grades that killed me.

Theres a lot to take into consideration when setting them up, but its not bad. The 4 link is the part most people screw up.

Realistically you can build a minitruck with nice wheels for under 4K. Ive just got more into mine with rebuilding everything, powdercoat, paint, etc. It adds up quick, but you can build one on the cheap.

looks like your door needs to be adjusted a little in the last pic.

It for sure does. The body guys really slapped it back together. I haven't had time to adjust much, and I only got it back 3 days before the show. And I used that time to change the oil and build the bed. But I just need to adjust the hinges. The front end needs a lot of tweaking too. I found out the bumper wasn't even bolted on.
