Gas Prices hit $2/gallon!

I was just thinking about this post.  We've gone from $1.99 to $2.44 in the last month. 

Barrel price is steadily climbing.  It's just under $60.  Remember that OPEC is happy with $75 a barrel, let's see how far it goes up again.  It's time to replace my minivan, but some of the new ones are getting less MPG than what I'm getting with a 8 year old van.   

Get a honda odyssey. they get decent milage, have great power, pretty comfy and definitely nice. theyre kinda pricey though for a "nice" one. I work at a honda/ford/chevy dealership and i go on dealer trades and i took one from chico to sac and it was a pretty nice ride. definitely has the poewr to go pretty good if you pin it too.

EDIT: Ive noticed gas has been steadily climbing. $2.41 for regular at the Safeway gas station around the corner from my house

Price went up about $0.30 while I was in Moab.  I paid $2.29 last week in Moab at a Shell and the local Shells are at $2.77.  This is for premium grade fuel.

$2.959 for unbranded 87 octane here in the Hinterlands...  better than last year at this time, but climbing steadily.

So, our pump prices have gone up .10 a week, and we just hit $2.89 today.  And I don't know if anybody is watching the barrel price, but it has been going up by a $1.00+ almost everyday!

I just heard on the radio that Tucson has the lowest prices in the country...we're always near the bottom end of prices. Yesterday I paid $2.39, not including my 10 cent a gallon discount from the grocery store!

It certainly does, regular gas has hit $3.14, premium is $3.90 and diesel is $2.89. Damn, I should of moved when I was younger, oh well too soon old and too late smart.

i kno it isnt "Gas" but diesel is finally becoming cheaper than 85octane. in seattle it is 20 cents cheaper, and here in Pocatello Idaho its 13 cents.
