you can also take 89 to 80 to 5 pretty easy because the trail ends right on 89 on the side of the lake

going back to Sac tho, thats out of the way too. 89 to 80 east to Reno is making forward progress for us Oregonians  ;)

Rick if your going out thru Tahoe your better off just heading for Reno and then 395 North to 5 then  Oregon. Going back to Placerville from Tahoe is way out of the way

For me its no big deal, since I will be just driving mine down there. Only problem is the person I'm going down there with (elotsip) is going to be towing his sami down there - so we have to get back to the tow rig.... Also it now looks like I will be picking up my co-pilot in Redding so I-5 just makes sense...

KYOTA

alright its official, I'm out for KOA. we're going up to Robbs. way closer to the trail, $5 a day tow rig storage compared to $25 a day@ KOA, Niki (at KOA) said they are gonna be packed with 2 schools worth of kids camping there at the same time( mrsW you'll love that  :talkingn:), they want people with trailers to break down and leave trailers in one spot and park tow rig at the campsite :headscratch:  and Robbs has a restaraunt and a BAR!!!!

I guess this would explain why I was told they were full when I called the other day :smack: always a day late and a dollar short :tantrum:

I've got 2 rigs with me for sure, hopefully three.  Anyone want to let a rig piggyback onto their site?  We'll pay the extra cost for sure

:tantrum:  that figures!  :snare: Well it's a huge campground, hopefully they will be far from us and we can always hole up in the LBC so NBD. We'll be gone at first light on Fri. and not back till Mon.

Are you going to try to meet with us at Loon Kyota? Or you want us to come by the campground and get you?
