Actually it is about 5 miles of trail.  I came in that way last year in the Migo when it was stock :hammerhead: And it was bout 9 miles from the beginning of McKinney Road on the Tahoe side to the springs Campground.  It's bout a half mile from Cadillac to the campgrounds though

oycj... if you come in through Tahoe, you got it.  Comin in through Loon is askin for body damage.  Did you ever get those sliders done up? :beerchug:

Nah, there there's only about 2 miles max that is even remotely difficult. you'd prolly be fine going through the tahoe side.   might bash up your rockers, but that would be about it

well let's see how can I explain to all of you how it is to ride the rubicon w/FFC in the Migo

  :-\    :disturbed:  :yikes:  :yikes:   :yikes:   :yikes: :flamer: :hahaha: :yikes:

but seriously it was a blast and If I could do it again knowing what i know now . I would do it all over . We all know the term drives like a girl right ? well I am alive and here to tell you FFC drive it like a guy. and although she about killed me several times. (heart attack wise-not her driving ) I will ride with her anytime the only short comings were th Migo's not hers. in my humble opinion she did amazing considering she needs a crawler/better gears/clutch was fried and sticking/the Migo has no finesse/a 90 nothing wheelbase / and was running her passenger front tire kept getting stuck in the wheel well
Girl is awesome.

I also rode with BLINGN on the way out in  the Xj and that in it's self was a blast he is a great kid (oldman here ) and a load of fun to be around as is everyone I meet this trip SNOWSHOEBRUE, BLACKDOG  j/k  SPOTTER  MINISIMP  RUGER OH!!!! wait I almost forgot this man is without a doubt the craziest person I met and I mean this in the best possible way . for example thru this whole weekend we had some close calls but after all that going down 89 in RUGERS rig on the switchbacks we hit a corner and that truck was leaning so hard I was thinking to myself after all the close calls and no rolls and it's on the highway that we're going to go over.
:bat: <MWM over my shoulder.
well that's all for now . I have to let the MAMMOTHS use their computer.

and I have to get the Migo loaded and get heading to FFC's to drop it off and then make my 6 to 7 hour drive back to LA see ya around the board.

to those who where waiting to hear from me sorry it took me so long to report.  :tantrum: dang it I just realized I left my camera at home so I'll have to post my pics tomorrow :tantrum: oh well . I finally made it home last night at 9:00 pm after getting stuck on the Bakersfield side of the grapevine closure do to the brushfire so what should have been a 6-7 hour drive turned into a 9 hour drive which only gave me time to eat and then go to work. but on the bright side the drive :driving: across the 58 thru the tehatchapi mountains was beautiful but the fact that everyone else was doing the same thing very busy and the idiots just :maddest: drove me insane some of the stupid things people do when they get in traffic. at least 10 people almost took off the front of the truck.  and one person when I changed lanes got mad and floored it to try and keep me from changing lanes and almost rear-ended me. some people just need to calm down and relax.
I spotted  6 vehicles on the ride home with marlin stickers and 5 looked like they where brand new. so I am guessing they just came from MCR5. and when I showed them mine I got  but one guy towing a black 3rd gen extra cab flatbed ignored me (i think he was just one of those people who never take their eyes off the road.) so that was OK.) well more to come W/pics  :snapshot: nexttime.   :yesnod:
