Tonight a buddy of mine came over and he and I bent the 2 rear frame rails! YES! it is starting to take shape...Now if the wheel centers would come in I'd be set.

OK,OK! Here are the 2 rails...I can't bend the cab hoop or the upper bed hoop...The piece of tubing isn't long enough to do either!

More progress....I'm getting ready to install a 1.5 body lift on...mainly for clearance for the engine and the cases

I am loving this buildup,  keep the pics rollin man.  :thumbs:
'99 SR5/TRD Tacoma w/5vzfe. SAS'd with 64" diamond axle (w/ long superset & ARB). about 5" of lift, 305/75 x16 BFG KM1's. Soon to come: 1.5" more lift (6.5"), 35 to 37" tire, undecided at this point., 63" F/F diamond rear, Marlin 4.7 tacobox.

Still making progress! I got the 1.5" body lift on(I know it isn't that much work)

I'm not big on BL's either...I made a decision to use one for clearances with the flat belly and to have a little room for the engine(I'll prob, cut out alot of inner fender structure when I get to that point)

I hope so...I am going to a local toyota guy this week to see if he has a killed 3rd gen x-cab I can scavage from him for free or cheap. All I need is a firewall and a floor. I want to use it for mock up
