no, not really...I just don't want it to spilt in two when I do something fun :)    I am gonna pop holes in the back of the cab and tie the bed into the interior cage(6-8 point) for even more rigidity..It will also have a x-cab protectors (come from main hoop) that tie into the sliders. These too will be tied into the interior cage...just in case

Nice build, I like the bed cage so far. I'll be watching this one, I've been planning something similar.

Looking good. I have been gathering my goodies for about two years now and I am getting to the point where I can start. I like how the rear tubing is coming out. Keep up the nice work.

Well, I got my links back today. I am so pissed, you have no idea. The guy F'd up 2 sticks $100 ea(roughly) So now he is gonna have to buy me 4 threaded inserts

1 link he threaded left handed 2x(and I can't even get the end to go in more than an inch!)
the other link he threaded right on 1 side and gutted the other! He tapped it 2x and cut all the threads out of it.
Here are the pics. It is kinda hard to make out though

I got them back before he could destroy all of them. Damn I'm mad

That tubing is 2" .50 wall Hyd Cyl Tubing...it was solid tube that has had 1" bored out of the center, It is super stout. We'll see, he is hopefully gonna buy me some tube adapters.

My tube adapters are in the mail from Polyperformance  6=$84 BUT I'M NOT PAYING FOR THEM!

NEWS FLASH: I am not able to afford coil-over shocks right now. I am gonna put airshoxs in the rear as planned but I am going to be putting coils up front. I found some kick ass coil mounting brackets from http//www.ballisticfabrication.com/brackets.htm and I'm gonna order them in a few weeks(unless I come into contact with some big $$$) $1200 for some blinging ass shocks is not worth not being able to wheel. I am going to get my engine and build my t-cases next and that is gonna be a chunk of change
List Prices
(1) Clocked Dual Case Adapter from Marlin Crawler  $499
(1) 23 Spline 4.7:1 Gear Set                                    $399
(1) 23 Spline Input Gear                                          $125
(1) 4340 Chromoly Output Shaft from Bobby Long     $240
(1) Clocked Twin Stick                                            $200
(1) T-Case Rebuild Kit                                             $184
(1) Rear Driveline Disconnect   (FROR)                     $500(possibly)
ENGINE= 3.4L Tacoma V-6
(1) 3.4L 30K miles All accessories                             $900~
(1) R150 Bellhousing to mate 3.4 to R151F                 $?

So, no more 1uz-fe?
That sucks about the threads, the worst part about these builds is waiting for stupid stuff like that.

Have you worked out how you're gonna do the cable conversion for the elockers, yet.  I'd be interested to see what you're gonna do.  I've read that with cable, it takes a longer amount of time to lock, but I don't know if that's because of design flaws or what.

Here are my sliders to this point, they also protect the x-cab and tie into the bed cage and they will continue forward to protect the front fenders and tie into the front bumper

78.3% huh LMAO  :talkingn:
new pics asap please.  I AM very interested in the next stage of your build. can't wait to wheel with ya either.  why are you gonna clock your cases?  seems to be a lot of $ when you could just do a drivetrain lift cheaply?  :twocents:
I am not making much progress on my build b/c I'm at home hung the F over b/c I partied too hard last night.
I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.
