I like your flatbelly fab work, looks relativly inexpensive and simple. I'm all about that if it works good and is strong!

I may take a few idea's from yours when I decide to flatbelly mine as well. Right now my links snag alot more then the t-case/tranny x-member.

Cool, I'm going to hit my links...I know it though. But they are stout enough to take a beating.

I forgot to figure in a few factors
1. the coil-over lower brackets
2. I lowered the truck another 1"
3. I'm an idiot
4. These shocks are fuggin huge! They are almost 30" long at ride height!

OK...got new coil-over hoops now...It turns out that my coil-overs sit at 34" at ride height 5.5" up travel in the rear (I don't think I really need anymore as of yet but that may change soon)

BEFORE

AFTER

The coil-overs are going to be mounted to the inside of the hoops and I'm going to cut and notch some tube to attach the hoops to the outer rail so it has some more support there also

Here is what is happening now:
1. I got my fuel cell(parts)
I welded up the sides tonight...I've got to go to the sheetmetal place and have them cut a few pieces for me
Before welding

After

2.I also got my coil-over tube tabs....these are so I'm able to bolt my shocks in place...I still need to order my lower brackets from Ballistic Fab so I can mount them up and get them semi-out of harms way.

Here is a truck that I am starting on for a customer. I had to snap this pic to show how low my truck is....his is on 31's mine is on 42's

can you get a pictures further back of the comparison of the 2 trucks.

btw those shock mounts are interesting.  I haven't seen anyone put a fully weldable tab on yet.  Different but cool

I'll see what I can do..I'm lowering mine at least 1 more inch

I've got my brackets for my coil-over mounts! BUT I've got a customers truck in the shop right now, so that means mine is put to the side until his leaves
