purchased a set of 5 pt harnesses from slowandold today off the Pirate board.

Purchased some "removeable" chain link so I can disconnect my limit chains on the front and rear if I need too.

Installed removeable limit chains and welded some bolts to my cage so I can bolt my Hi-Lift to the cage.

Recieved a package today,




5 pt harness!  mounted them and tested 'em out    they work well.

Had electrical problems with my tow rig and trailer today so that took up alot of time.

Had a good time w/ Geno up at Fordyce. Spanked winch hill's 1,2, and 3. Got denied on the left line for winch hill 3 because i'm still carb'd     other then that the truck performed well. 

Carnage for the week (no pics yet)   but I almost ripped my rear upper coilover mount completely off, hope I didn't damage the coilover TOO bad!  i'll try and get some pics soon though. We mobbed out of there with a quickness so... that's probably what led to my breakage.  oh well!  fix it.. make it stronger.

My wifes new to taking wheeling picutres so take it easy.

went to PnP today and got a master cylinder off a 1986 Cressida, went from a 13/16" bore to a 1 1/16" bore.

Havn't had a chance to bleed and fine tune the brakes but once I do i'll post up the result.

couldn't pass it up for twelve bucks.


Also got an external fan off a Isuzu that i'm going to mount in the front w/ a trans cooler for my hydro.

Yup, from 86' to 88'  the MC's a direct bolt up and has a bore of 1 1/16" 

I was actually suprised to see a Cressida out there, usually they're all stripped.. it had a complete running 5mge in it as well.

rotors have light surface rust from sitting, have 'em all cleaned up tomorrow.

tomorrow I should have the rear coil hoops covered in a sheet of stainless and some crossbracing/gussets.

so the latest... put the rear disc conversion on and now I have no brake pedel. Swapped out my stock 13/16" MC for a MC out of a Toyota Cressida which is a 1 1/16" bore... still no luck... have ALOT of pressure to the brakes because when I bleed them they squirted a good 3ft. but the pedel goes to the floor fairly easy... next on the to-do list is research different Brake Boosters and see what I can come up with.

Are the calipers seized? I'd pull em off and blow the pistons out, clean it all up a bit...maybe even kit 'em.  You said your buddy had them, right? Were they sitting or installed?
