Nice to see you're making progress bro. I hadn't even checked this thread because I figured you'd wait till about May again the rush like hell to get her together. You're still just getting coils on the front for now right? Ever get that valve situation in the rear staightened out? Me and Nick were showing our MCR4 & 5 videos to some of the guys out here and they loved that . Anyhow man, can't wait to see how it does when I get back.

Yea i'm planning on having the coils ordered this coming up weekend or next. This weekends my wifes b-day so.... no coil's for me  instead she's getting the windows tinted in the car, a new stereo... and a bunch of other crap.

Finally got a chance to take a few pictures, got some ppl asking me how the hydro's mounted so.... here it is!

Feel free to ask any more questions you may have, i'll be glad to answer. 
Yes that's a budlight can wrapped around my hydro lines.. they rub against the upper link and I didn't want to wear a hole in the line soooo... quick fix!

chatted w/ BRC motorsports today, i'll be giving Virgil a call tomorrow.. he's going to give me a price on coilovers.. and a few misc things. Hope to have coils ordered by tomorrow.

Look at where the airshocks are mounted now, notice anything wrong with the picture?

The lower mount is too close to the steering arm's so I have to relocate them inward a few inchs... which means the driverside will have to go up a little..

I ALSO have to completely reconfig the shock hoops in the front

Ordered my Fox coilovers today from Poly Performance, shipped out today.. should hopefully be here next week.

nice nice.  there is a chance i might be moving up to the Plumis Lakes area in a couple months.  So i will be around you area Shayne.  4 car garage, i could actually keep my truck at home!  i am hoping it works out.  so now you will have the coil overs there is a good chance of you making it to the Hammers!

I ordered the coils on Monday and they were here first thing this morning (Wednesday)

Any updates?  Your slacking on progress.  Did you end up selling this and buying that buggy?

i've been slacking big time, been sick on and off... working 6 days a week and everytime I plan on jumping on it... it starts raining. So i'm planning on getting the airshocks back on the rear this weekend if it doesn't rain.. i'm crossing my fingers!!



Im not wasting my time tuning these if they dont work properly either.. i'll just end up running coils all around.

Hows the shock mount situation looking, a little fat guy told my wife that you may have to change it all out.

Hope it's all together when I get home later this month, you'll save beer by not having my "supervision" while you work on it

So I finally got to work on the rig today,

got the coilovers swapped to the front and tuned.

rebuilt the airshocks and got them relocated to the rear and tuned them a bit more... seems okay.. we ramped it a few times and it seemed good.... nothing rubbed, hopefully it stays that way!

I'll get some progress pics up once it comes home.

Suspensions way to soft in the rear still... I tuned them twice... second time I added ALOT of oil... didn't seem to change anything.
