question, how much is the 60/14 bolt costing yall to purchase/build?

well to be honest I almost stole them for $1100 plus 200 shipping to me in washington from Wisconsin.  Mine came with 4.56 gears and a detriot 14b and a gov lock 60.

yea it all depends on where your located and what you can find. I looked for a couple months for a front D60 and kept coming up short. Buddy of mine went to Oklahoma and picked up a 60/14 combo, had plans to put it in his truck but saw that my build was coming alot closer then his so he sold them to me.

Your looking at around $1100-1500 for a set of axles
Gears front and rear around $550-$600
Lockers... depends on what you get.. Spools are $180 but a detroit can run up around $600
Thats not counting what kind of steering you want to do.. i'm going to go full hydro so....

Then you've got suspension... do you want springs?  do you want links?  coils?  coilovers?

Options are endless...

you are dreaming on gears.  Front and rear with set up kits are at least $700 PLUS install (usually around $300 an axle).  I have about $4000 in to my axles without chromos or 35 splines or rear discs   It is usually the little things that get you.  When you buy a 60 it is usually old and crappy.  I spent $250 on wheel bearings.  Then you can expect to put on new brakes, studs, etc.  Things tend to nickel and dime you.  Sometimes it is better to just buy a built set of axles and save yourself the trouble of grinding, painting and rebuilding. good luck

sorry davidt if you havn't done the research or checked around for pricing. I can get a full set of 5.13 gears off of a vendor on PBB for $580 thats front and rear including the master install kits.
