I bought it from a guy here in portland.I only got a bill of sale due to it being through the auction and it was totaled..Dmv told me That was all I needed for what I was doing with it,as parts.In oregon Dmv said If I put it on another frame it would be registerd as a 85 toy tacoma. :idea:I was going to put the body on a frame of a 85 p/u or 4runner.Huh?85 tacoma..thats what I Though too .Its all there,,other then what I mentioned in the other post..there will be no wireing harness,but all there.it does have a/c,but will have no pump..Thats on bord air for my runner.no powr wndow.any way I will post some pics Is that better?I have a jeep project I might trade..74 cj5,3spd,360,360-375 hp,with current cam,headers,mid size d-44,front rear out a scoutII,front disk brakes..I don't want to get rid of it but might..I will trade taco parts for just about anyting.The other project is just swaps to my runner with taco parts,eng,trans,rearend,spring..that sort of stuff..this thred got off topic,,wanna move it mr moderator sombody..As far as $ goes open to offer.will post pics monday... :up: :~~:

what kind of stuff do you need for your 4runner project?  im trying to figure what i have for toyota stuff youd want as trade for the tacoma cab...

not so much is needed for the runner project but always looking for gears,lockers,anything useful drivetrain wise,bumpers,roll cage for 4runner..I got some pics I will post here is a bit of int of taco..shawn,,

what portions of the wiring are you gonna keep, just the portion from the ecu to the motor?  are you using any major parts of the wiring harness connected to the functions of the turn signals, headlights, windshield wiper motor and stuff(stuff operated off the steering column)?

ill offer of a fresh 5.29ed toy diff just setup by gearman with an arb if you can keep that part of the wiring harness in tact...and ill take care of delivery/pickup...
