:sly: Pretty good guestimate on my part... it was 30".  Sits fine and spins all the way around no problems.  It's got a little play in the CV, but not near as bad as it was before :hyper:

You should have thrown out that cardon joint.

You should have thrown out that cardon joint.

I wish :yesnod: But I don't think that a regular single U-Joint will pull off the angle I need... I'll have more time to experiment with it after the roundup.  I had to work with what I knew would work... since I have to put it on the trailer tomorrow :hyper:

With my linkt front I have broke two cardon joints by out flexing them. If you put to much angle on them they break the pin inside the joint. That was one of my breaks at Moon Rocks. It took a chunck out of my crawl box. I removed the cardon joint and I have had no problems for three hard runs.

Thanks Jason.  I plan to get rid of it ASAP... but with a 30" driveshaft... I wasn't sure if the single U-Joint would be able to handle the angle needed to do the trick.  I've got 2 spare CV's for the trail... I just gotta remember to grab em :hahaha:

Wow, I'm surprised I didn't put any roundup pics up from last year on here :headscratch:

Well, the Migo is sittin in Reno at BLACKDOG's house... no shocks, no starter.  Doesn't look like it's movin for a while either. Looks like mom and I will be riding the bikes in from Loon on Friday for MCR7.

Right now, the Migo needs at minimum a starter, shocks all around, the wiring for the lights gone through (no biggy), and a battery.  Still needs a clutch, a crawler, and either a longer or wider wheelbase.

Matt and I are considering using his Chrysler full widths for it eventually, but that's just a thought in the back of our minds.

LOL... ahhhh...    NO!

I don't mind riding a bike, as long as I get to the springs and back to work on Monday, I'll be happy!

Thanks Jim, no thanks... The main reason I'm not taking the Migo is cuz I can't go to Reno to bring it back, and I don't have the $$ to put in a starter.  Driving to Freemont area is just about as far as Reno for me.... thanks anyway.

Rocksurfer, I don't believe you :thpst:

we are not mind readers elaborate :slap:

:funny:

Got some spare shafts, a kick ass spare tire, the IFS rear axle housing, then I picked up most of the rest of the parts to complete it (the rear end that is, not the rig)... Hmmm... what else.... Hey.. at least I'm making a little progress.  I want to have the rear axle complete before I install it so it'll only be like a 2 hour job.  Once Matt's rig is on the trail we're bringin in the Migo
