Umm... Just wondering...

... if we got insurance? :nerv:

The flange guard whatever it's called is damaged.... and I don't know if this is something that is gonna be an issue or not.  If I remember correctly it protects the pinion seal right?

I would just try to cut them off without taking the flanges off. You could replace the flanges some other time.

Or try to straighten them so they don't rubb and that should be ok.

Man they are rough arn't they?  :shake:

Is it just me, or does anyone else have a hard time seeing how that of all types of damage could happen.  It looks like a screwdriver did that.  Were the boxes tampered with?  Did they pick the boxes up with those hooks they use for hay bales??

Jeez...UPS kills me.  Were they both in one box?

They must have some big boys working there to toss around  108 lbs like that.

BTW we do have $100 insurance by default, but you don't want to get tied up in the red tape and not get them in.

They were both in the same box... and the bottom as you can see here.. was slightly open.  The zip ties were all broke besides one (1) that I had to cut... :dunno:

Ain't enough to get me too riled though... They're better than what I had before, I can kiss Mark's feet for what he did for me... So I ain't complaining! :nonono: I got a hammer and I can figure out how to use it :disturbed:

They just pushed it off the end of the truck.

You think. Maybe a couple times.

I should send these pictures to them, but without keeping them out for them to inspect it would be useless. Just get them in soon. you can change the flanges if needed while they are in.

:yesnod: The plan is to go camping this weekend at the Cantina.... but Monday is ALL MINE!! :woohoo: I need a whole day to do them because in order to work on the Migo it has to be in the garage, and we have to take the Jeep out, and we can't leave the jeep outside over night because Matt just put the sound system in it and it WILL be gone by morning if we left it out :shake:

I hit the cover on my Willys and it bent up like that, could have just got caught in a conveyor, sounds awful though when it's spinning on the vehicle. Try and bend it back and not let it grind away on the third.

Hahaha yeah it does, I forgot to mention how bad. Just a nice constant grinding sound. Its almost like when you let your pads go metal on metal on your rotors for 3 weeks straight (believe me, I did that bonehead maneuver also...)  :ack:

Try to bend it as much as you can. It will never be normal again but try and get it as much as you can back to normal.
