Are you gonna put the bumper back on, or build a new one? It looks pretty badass without one...

ya. im gunna build the same exact one again but with 1 3/4" tube this time. the 1 1/2" was just a little small for my taste.

No I mean what is he going to do with it. I need to build one, if he wasnt going to re-use it I'd buy it

you can come get it for free if i dont have to get you a hood?

i use to drive it on the road and do miss it every now and then but its more of a pain in the ass than anything. its really long and with the welded rear im over trying to cruise it cause it wont turn worth a :pokinit: anywhere. hopefully ill be picking up a tow rig very soon.

so i believe the life of my rear shaft is now over. i think when the suspension compresses it pushes the rubber forward in the carrier bearing. i know its bent but ive also hit the slip as well.

i blew out the carrier bearing at KOH. i got this one which looked brand new from someone online and it blew it out a 100 yards from the trailer when i went up to the snow 3 weeks ago.

Looks good. Are you gonna brace it off more, or is it pretty strong as is?

kiyul4130

ill get another picture of it after the weekend. im going to tie it into my shock hoops. for some reason that picture makes the stinger look taller than it really is. its taller a pinch, but not much more than my old bumper.

Tie threw the hood right above the grill? Are you going to cap those stubs coming off the frame?

i should have capped them. there completely smashed from going through the box over the weekend. i wont go above the grill it will be some where on the inside/under the headlights straight back to the shock hoops, just like before.

yeah they are a pain. im have trouble with mine, the VAPS Valve is bad on mine and is allowing the ATF to drain into the engien via the vac lines. so it drains the system really fast and makes my engine smoke bad. cant buy a new one without buying a whole new toyota pump from the factory at $400 bucks. they dont come on aftermarket ones and cant buy em separate. sucks! so i got to find a used valve or plug it with a M14x1.5 bolt. having a hell of a time finding one. i tried capping the vac ports and it just blows the plugs off. anyways.. the trucks lookin nice man.

why not just get an aftermarket pump. it will be better than stock and you can find a way to plug those lines up.

i have an aftermarket on it, i replaced it just after i bought the 4runner. but the aftermarkets dont come with a VAPS valve so i swapped the valve from the old pump not knowing that was the problem part. right now i have the pump off completely and the vac ports plugged on the engine
