thanks. i will. this is the most ive worked on it at one time since my sas about 3 years ago (in late Jan/Feb 05) its a long and slow process but its getting there.

i got that pinion back from my friends shop. heres what it looks like. had to drill and tap the pinion and slide hammer it out. we also had to get the torch in there and cut out the bearing. we were really close to having to cut the 3rd open but i was willing to wait it out as long as it  would take to not have to do that.

its at 27" without the rear end lowered yet. we didnt work on it at all today. the shop got a make over and is so clean we just sat around and stared it for awhile. right now colbys putting limit staps on the D50.

Is it hard to find parts for your d50?    how much are you lowering the rear?

im lowering however much it takes to make the rear end just sit a pinch below the front. im trying to upload a picture but im on this girls mac right now and its hard. im in iphoto and ive found out how to resize in percent like (sketch skew) paint but it makes the photo more pixelated and increases the KB's. it went from 176-376??? i dont get it. theres a gas D50 in the other garage that he takes stuff from now and then but i can deffinetally say its a custom truck. the twin turbo`ing on it took a month+ to figure out.

i decided that since i have wheeled for this long without duals, i dont need them. my new goal is to try and bend this housing with the the knuckle balls on it.

finally, is gonna be going down in sonoma all around pretty soon.  My truck, billys, just helped kevin unloads some 404's, charlie sold his toy axles for some 404's, jakes ready for some work, dusting wants to sas with coils his truck, my new runner? but about time your getting taht done.  27" should be perfect for your long as wheelbase, any shorter and you'll be turtle boy

there both going mogs, no way. linking it all up or what. the moose on mogs HAHAHA. sounds like those are going to be some tall rigs. theres a lot of work to make those work.

kevins linking front and rear with coilovers and the moose is taking out his body lift so he doesnt go crazy high.  ya its a going to be alot more work than they think to get going right/reliable

im twiddeling my thumbs right now wanting to go work on it but colby needs the cherry picker for his truck. its actually already holding it up. hes grinding down shock tabs to they dont bind anymore and hes putting on his limit straps and bracing his shock hoops so i dont think ill get to work on it today. i need the cherry picker to hold up the bed while i pull everything out. its all good though.
heres what i want to do.
1: rear suspension ( i know i can get it all done in 1 day)
2. then the bed bob.
3. throw the duals in and measure for DL lengths
4. hydro assist and im done.

they will soon and my should be going by then anyways.  check out the Trail Reports/Events forum i threw the Butte Meadows web cam link in there on the Snow Run thread. (post #171) we got a decent amount of snow last night. its still rainy right now.
