my work makes that plate for $125 with the ends.  maybe a little less for just the plate.

ah sweet. is there any way we could work something out?

screwin around on paint. not sure if i like it or not........        ?????

YEAH!! time to put that thing on a diet

Ramrod

rick(brads boss) says there $125 for the full kit or $50 for just the center plate(what you need)  definitly a good deal but dont buy the whole thing because there not a really strong design how he builds them

Ramrod

I put some pics of it in my buildup page.  One thing to think about with those type of crossmembers is that there is alot more vibration at idle but it is also alot more solid.

should i just buy the plate and make my own cross member to the plate?

edit: is the plate 3/8 or 1/4

edit again!! i forgot. im going to be running the clocked adapter. is there anyway i can still use that one? or will i just have to bolt it up to the clocked adapter as is and mod it that way to fit?

What did you want to know about the bed bob Kyle?

the plate is 3/8 and the center section alone is great and all you'll need. nothing else will actually work with your clocked adapter.  Let me know if you want some better pics of mine.

alright cool. just some of them mounting to either side of the frame. the other ones is good though. ya if i got one through brad that would be way cool. so i guess it will just sit on the clocked adapter then id have to make my own tube running from it to the frame rails. im thinking ( 1 1/2") square maybe? im also thinking i could purchase the end peices from front range. the hard rubber bushings

i just had a question about the rear part of the bed and how it mounts to the very end of the frame. so do you end up just bobbing that all out and your only left using the mounts by the end of the rear fender wells? cause the tail gate will be so close. i know its easy but it threw my off looking under my truck today.

the mounts to the frame are super simple yet super strong.  I had some bushings that trail gear sent me for some reason for there rear springs that pressed in perfectly in to some 1.75" .120 wall round that we had left over from bending that I welded to the notched tube going to the main transfercase plate then on the frame I welded a 3x7" plate to the frame with 2 plates coming off of it to put the bolt through.  I put a 3/4" in there but am using a 5/8" bolt so its easier to put together but make sure that you can still get the mount back on once u pull it off for final welding because mine is almost impossible without lowering the tranny down like 4"

kiyul4130

so i decided i really need to start working on this lame truck cause im running out of time. so today i got started on clearing the bed and tonight im going to work on cutting out the bumper and getting some of it welded together. sorry folks,  ::) no bed bob yet. maybe after hammers but for now im keeping it. ill post up more later tonight or tomorrow of what i get done.

i actually was able to bang out most of the dented parts on the passenger side rear panel and all the other really dented stuff was low enough to get cut off. the drivers side was one big dent but no scratches and that popped right out. so that was cool.

alright so im in a bind!  :maddest: im really trying to figure this out by tomorrow (wednesday) or thursday, NO LATER THAN FRIDAY. so im a little strapped on cash and have been wanting duals for the last 2 1/2 years. i deffinetally need a little more gearing for this hammers trip. so heres the deal.
Marlins out of the v6plate and i deffinetally need that no matter what before i got to hammers. heres the catch why.
rockcrawlintoy has came across some great points on what i should do:
1st. we started punching $ numbers and gearing numbers. i thought i could just order everything from here and get the v6 plate from inchworm. the total outcome of gearing equals out to 97:1. stock duals in my truck. total is $909 (ship not includ) still leaves me with some cash for cross member stuff and to make a driveline.

2nd. we thought (rockcrawlintoy) get the v6 plate, 4.7s from marlin and the 23spline input gear. the gearing here equals out to 88:1 (not very much less) this total comes to $954 i think (w/o shipping)

3rd. my idea is to call marlin and see how much all the dual ulti stuff would be minus the v6 plate. then order that from inchworm but i would be SOL for a crossmember and it would be sketch getting in a rear driveline in time. which ever way it turned out. (HEY my birthday is on friday so maybe thats a good thing!???) but i think it could get done. the dual ulti stuff is $1373. so minus the v6 plate looks to be $1023.

sorry for the long post. im just trying to deside this week and make an order already!!!!!!!!!! its been so long since ive wanted duals but as moneys kinda tight im tossing up 3 ideas. everyone lean me towards something im ready to make an order!!!!!!!!!!!!!   :willynilly:  :slap:

Make a poll somewhere (general 4x4 probably), copy and paste all the ideas then put that as the decisions you can use for the poll. Then post the link in your thread.

I dont know its just an idea.

I say get the 4.7s, run one case and get the second case in later. Cheaper and easier.

Sorry I didnt call you back today

no worries. ya i do have both cases. so im kinda thinking just throw in the other case this summer????

I have been swamped with work :(  Just now looking to start on my 4runner again.  I need to get it smogged but before that I need all the emissions crap and other things.  I am trying to find someone in Chico that can tackle it for me.  I think I could do it but I know it would be half assed and I want it done right.  I'm sure I will end up doing it, just need to find all the parts.
