sweeeet. the rear end is done minus getting a hoop made for the shocks. so my rear shackles ended up being to long. i was bummed it took time to make them callen had some other ones laying around that were the exact height i needed, about an inch eye to eye shorter. so heres the old ones and the new ones. the hanger was cut off with a cut off wheel and moved back. it looks factory.

im taking out 11". i want a foot but its so much more work to do that extra inch cause you get into the frame rails with the bumper and what not.......we'll see...

Oh yes its about time!!! If you want it to look decent throw some bondo on it and do a quick hit with a orbital sander, call it good. Or just leave it because it will get smashed one day anyways!

bumpers already cut up and put on and finished. i was doing that while callen was welding across the inside of the bed.

missed this post. i did and it wasnt that bad. but the ride isnt as good and a lot of the time out wheeling they unload and fold backwards on themselves. try doing a donut with them. its bad. it will make the truck sit uneven. i will miss all the droop though thats for sure. im kinda bummed about that. the tire would just keep falling..... looking forward to seeing how it rides though.

Looks good!!!   Was it hard to bob with the dents in the rear there?

i couldnt believe how easy it went. its hard to imagine but the side with the dents turned out better. (on the inside of the bed) on the drivers side theres a gap where the two parts met up. the other sides welded. it turned out great. im happy with it. im trying to drive this thing right now actually. i have to go get a tcase flange.
