so i got both knuckles on today. all i need to is get the shafts slid all the way in and to from the knuckles out on either side. shouldnt take more than 40min. but with the way the last 3 days have gone or so, i could see it taking 5 hrs for some reason. the felts are blinging.
a HUGE problem i ran into today was the knuckle ball gussets i welded on wouldnt even allow me to steer cause the knuckle hit so damn bad. when mocking them up i noticed that they touched the spring perch pretty much and went all the way to the bearing race. i knew it wouldnt turn so i cut off a 1/4" on both of them at the race end and it still hit soooo bad. i had to grind a ton today but i think everything will be alright. i cant wait for the hydro. ill get pictures tomorrow.

think about. really, nothing got done the time you were there. i started at 1:30pm today and left callens at 8:30. so about 6 1/2 hrs to get some flopin knuckles on. i didnt work straight through, but it was probably atleast 5hrs.

ok. i was hoping it wasnt just me that had to mod those damn things.

i finally got the axle completely back together and the tie rod is on it as well. we put the wheels on it and it was kind of exciting to see how it was going to sit. it sits WAYYYY lower. it lost a good 3" in height. its low riding now. the axle is a lot further forward so i wont be getting into my fenders anymore. im going to have to cut my bumper i think cause the tire will hit it when compressed. im kind of excited on how its sitting. callen "if you change that leaf pack kyle, im going to kick you in the balls". im worried that it might be to low. i almost got slapped.

heres some pics. the felts are bling haha. im going to get in there and cut them with an exacto knife.

its hard to tell how low it is but its a big difference. i definitely have to get T100 pan to make the  hydro work. if i kept the same lift it would have been fine but its really in the way. my tire is also not slanted in real bad so it was the housing. it kinda looks in but thats cause the tire got warn more from driving home on the con with it bent. its straight up and down now

holy cow so i was digging around to find a comparison shot and it took a bit but i got one. the truck is ATLEAST 4" lower now. look at the bumper to tire. my springs are like a 3" lift maybe.

you know whats sick is that my shocks are still the same. i still have 4" of uptravel cause those old tabs on my bent housing were like 2" above these so its liek the shock never moved.

were going to be pulling my truck out of there and cleaning the ENTIRE place. its bad. throw away everything thats not need and do some organizing. colbys got his truck pulled in just a bit but i need to scoot mine over more so im gunna pull it out and back it in for the bed bob and rear suspension action.

What are you doing to the rear suspension?

getting rid of the double shackles. matching the height in the rear obviously. it will probably sit a 1/2" lower. ditching the blocks and and relocating them _/ \_

i will once i do the rear end and its on levelish ground. this garage is off 4" in some spots. its like surfin a wave while wrenching/fabbing. but it works

edit: i bet its not as low as yours but it will be interesting to see.

your going to have to cut so much body dont you think? its pretty sick how the height it is...i dont know.....thats fuggin LOW. cant wait to see it though. i have my last class tomorrow. i hate studying. someones been bumpin beats down the street all night.  cant here what exactly there playing

get down there!  ya i might keep the hieght resonable but i havent even tubbed the firewall yet and it doesnt rub so I should be fine to let it go a couple inches
