thanks guys.  and ill try to get it out west real soon.

couple random wheelin pics from today.  nothing hard just fun to get out with some friends.

couple of the other guys who came out.

tom w.

So how do you like your flatbed compared to the stock bed?

Matty

i like it cause i can bash the hell out of it on rocks and such without problems, and when i want to carry gear i just ratchet strap it all down.   the other thing is the bed before was so messed up i couldnt keep it.   but i think im gonna bob and dovetail the next one and see how that works out.

tom w.

that would look sweet on your truck

Matty

went wheelin again.  this time with pics.

KDC

You alright?  Kinda looks like my drivers side fender.  Was it a flop or did you just get a tree or rock or somthing?

Matty

yea im fine.  it was just a rock.  i dont have any pics but both fenders and both cab sides are smashed in.

gave the truck some character.  :)

KDC

Nice.

Can you get the doors back on?

Matty

ill find out in a week or two

Volcom

A buddy of mine lived on 9th and Penn, directly across the street from the cemetery :)  Have you figured out a way to get your Toyota out to CO yet?

That's what I like to hear!  I've been thinking about just jumping from the trashed 33's I'm running now straight to the 39.5 Iroks rather than running the 36's first.

Did you beef up your front axle?  ARP knuckle and hub studs?  Did you get the Longfield hub gears?  Hydro-assist?  Those are all things I need before I can setup to the big boy tires :)

so far the only thing i have is the knuckle ball gussets, 30 splines and hub gears.   i will be most likely getting hydro assist when i pick the new tires up.  if i can afford the ARP stuff at that time i will get it, but if not i will just go easy until i can afford them or just carry spares.

looking back now i wish i just went for the 40s right away.  33s to 40s is gonna be nice jump.

Matty

well the last update for a couple months.  till i get home over thanksgiving break to wheel it more. i have some good news and some bad news.  The Good:  I HAVE A TOW RIG and now i just need a trailer for it.  :yesnod: The Bad:  I cant get the truck out to Colorado until the first week of May  :( .   But i still have some things i need to take care of with it at home before i start the tow back out to CO anyways.  There is a very good chance its going to get truggied very soon as well (being able to tow it n all)  so i may start ordering link parts soon.
