Pumped about the HA but I didn't really elaborate on this.  I meant that the truck is dead.  I cracked the frame in 3 places and its smashed to hell (great winter break though  ) .  I sold my Iroks and Sliders and some other misc parts off of it but the plan is to get a new truck out here in CO.  I am going to part the rest of the truck out and ship my axles, highsteer, duals, suspension all out to CO.  My friend has a garage that I can use with torches and a welder so I think I am going to pick up a 4runner and all i need to buy is hangers and some misc mounts and I should have the new truck bought and done sometime around June when I would have gotten my truck out here anyway.  This time I dont have to deal with any rust though.

Ill update as I figure out more and start a new build thread when I purchase the new rig.  :beerchug:

tom w.

Dang dude... I really liked your truck

Matty

the new build should be going soon. but heres some old pics from when the truck broke.

82 HiLux

wow, looking at that makes me want to go outside and gusset my front drop hanger :yikes:
82 hilux, bobbed, really fast 22r, 2 transfer cases, ARB's, 5.29's, 37" MTR's. Custom everything.

SolidAxle

WOW, I bet you are going to gussent that spot on your next truck. I've always been fond of this truck, clean enough to drive on the street, but you still weren't afraid to wheel it. Nice build, I look forward to the next one.

DTB

aye looks like I'll be gusseting mine too!  :o

Thats why I always gusset the hanger when I SAS trucks

jarboarder1

just get your new one already.  :smack:

Im tired of waiting

Matty

most definitely gusseting the new one. it was a long afternoon trying to limp it out of the trail with rachet straps and cautious  driving.  luckily we trailered that day so it was easy once we got out.

and ill be getting the new one soon.

Wermz84

Wow.  that is quite the Break!  :yikes:

Matty

my longs and aussie are in jarboarder1s rig till i get a new rig which will be soon hopefully.

threw the fender on the wall.

Wermz84

Makes me sad to see it stripped  .  Why didn't you just fix the frame?

like the fender on the wall by the way.

the truck was beyond saving at this point.  also i wanted a truck with a bed and with EFI.  not to mention that truck is in CT and i live in CO now.

the body was fine  :screwy: .   the front hanger being cracked off wasnt the only thing, the frame was cracked in 3 places.  this was beyond repair.  it was a rusty east coast truck that i wasnt gonna waste my time bringing to colorado.  i want a clean slate.
