Re: 87 4Runner in CO--super-slow build
« Reply #30 on: Jan 12, 2010, 07:29:47 PM »
I'm going for it! He's bringing the truck down tomorrow and taking the Celica away. Now my girl wants to make the 4Runner hers... which is fine; 2 rigs are better than one.
As for the truck/needs:
d-shaft has rock rash/SUPER bad wobble from 30-35
doors aligned and half or tube doors built
real sliders (I still have that certificate from the jamboree)
EFI swap as far as I'm concerned
deeper gears
exhaust that goes past the cab  :D

But it has:
F/R Detroits and Yukon 4.11s
hi-steer
IFS discs in front
ProComp springs
flatbed
XD9000i winch
rock/reverse lights
Subaru buckets
spare parts
Pioneer radio
4.7 in the case
power steering
stainless header

More stuff will be added as I dig into it but I'll cross that obstacle when it gets here.
