not real surprising to hear. but at 130ish a tire it might be worth it if i gotta replace em a little more often. who knows though. if i can get the 35 bfgs i already have thats the main plan.
Not really. Whats a 33" BFG run? $150 or so?
I've got 40K or so on my BFGs, and they've got a little less than half tread on them. You'd prolly replace the LTBs at least once in the amount of miles I'll get out of my BFGs. When you're looking at tires, make sure you take expected tread life into consideration along with price. If the expected tread life is half the expected tread life of a tire that costs $20-$50, you're not going to save $$ in the long run.
