No you dont Lil swamper,  I have a 350 in my 84.  Yes its pretty fast and a hell of a lot of fun to drive but it is hell on parts!
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

oops i forgot to mention that parts ment for a toyota 4cylender or evin a 6 cylinder will not hold up to constant flogging with a 300 hp plus v8

thats why im putting dana 44 front axle dana 60 rear turbo 350 tranny and eather a np205, or dual marlin cases with 23 spline all the way through or also considering an atlas t-case

1 driveline
2 rear axle housings
3 broken birfs
3 transmissions, th350's not yota
3 engines
4 radiators
10 busted 3rd's
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

The local lube shop around my parts here use warner filters , ther white with red writing on them, made by Borg Warner. Speaking of whcih my car is due for a oil change

 the 3.0 in wifeys car makes 222hp so a 3.4 is more than likly going to be around  220+

just start looking through the bone yards and asking at the front desk of the wreaking yards im shure plenty of people have recked them and left the engin intact just look around
