Actually mine came from an orchard in California. Just pour used oil, kerosene, diesel, hydraulic oil, whatever you got (except gasoline ir will go boom) light it and let her rip. The more air you feed it the hotter it gets. The first picture is just a Google picture the 2nd is mine in the shop at mom's with the carb flap open to get it good and hot.

LOL oh yeah thats just what I needed. That would really mix nicely with the metal, paint, and cleaner that already filled my lungs from this session.

The smoke goes up and the heat goes all around. I use mine in a 30x30 building with no roof vents and I'm still alive lol

Smudge pots work really well. My friend burns waste oil in his shop but he keeps the doors open so you don't get the fumes. Look at the mr buddy heaters with the 5 gallon propane attachment. It would heat my garage up pretty quick and it was uninsulated in a much colder climate.

I don't know how this conversation went this direction but I'm not in need a new heating system. My little garage is heated just fine by my little electrical heater. I'll take this all into account when I get a house and a shop though.

cool, you'll love them. i had a set of bias 37x13.50-16's that rode surprisingly well on the highway, and were of course excellent off road

You drink Pabst Blue Ribbon to? I knew you were cool, but didn't know you were that cool.

I've seen them work, they about the best mix you can get of a mud/snow and a rock tire. I thunk you'll like them.

These days it has fallen back to be my fishing beer. Living up in Washington we got them there fancy beers so I drink them most of the time.

What are your reasons? Looks pretty aggressive for a daily driver so you must have some positive road handling feedback.

I've been researching tires non stop for like 3 weeks. Based on all that is why I've settled on them. The feedback is that they provide a remarkably surprising smooth pavement experience (while a little loud). They are an absolute animal off-road is the word as well. Pun intended.

Loud, don't balance very well, and will probably only get about 20k on them before they are shot. Better than and irok or bogger though.
Are you going bias or radial?

Radial and with that you can take out the last 2 negatives you just stated.

In all respect I hope they live up to your expectations. I know 3 people that have ran them on a dd/weekend wheeler. 1 had bias other 2 were radial. The bias actually outlasted the radials. None of them broke 30k with them before they were basically worn to nothing. For what they are you couldn't ask for anything better honestly. They bite like a bogger in mud and dirt, when they hit the rocks they act like a irok and dominate most other mt tires. You cant expect something that awesome to last very long on the highway. I liked them when I rode on them. Loud but not nearly as loud as other aggressive tires.

Right on, that is good to know. I've owned my truck for 2 years as of the 18th of this year and I've just hit 20k miles I've put on her. I live 3 minutes drive from work and drive the girl's car for errands, going out, and etc. Granted I've got a long trip to Moab coming up in a few months but as of now the plan is to tow her there. If I get 2 years out of any mud terrain with how often I wheel and the types of trails I run, then I'm happy. Especially as with the PBRs coming in a 15" rim offering they are less than $400 per tire. I will ask this of you to ask your buddies. Were the tires great through all of the tread?

I'll be interested to see how these work out for you. From the reviews they sound like a no compromise tire. In fact others say that the radials are quite quiet.

Yeah, I was quite surprised to find that out myself when researching. I wrote them off for the longest time assuming they were going to be just like IROKS in that they would be unbearable on pavement. From the sounds of people's experience with them, pitbull has found a way to provide irok type traction with a very smooth (at least for a MT) road ride. I'm very excited to run them.

Well I ordered all my stuff to upgrade my power steering. I'm really kicking myself in the ass for not getting a steering box that was drilled and tapped for hydro.
