I don't know if this is possible because I'm not sure if it's a hydraulic assist or full hydraulic (no direct connection to steering wheel)............Reverse the hoses so when you turn left the truck goes right and vice versa. That would tell you the problem part.
I guess I don't understand what you are saying. All that would do is cause the ram to work against the steering box....
Sounds like my idea won't work.I didn't know if you were ram only or ram assist..........
I believe the ram extends when turning left?? If so there will be less piston area when retracting (turning right). This could be the issue you're feeling when only turning right.
What size ram do you have? What fluid as well?
Go get a t fitting and pressure gauge. Put it on each line at the cylinder and see what youe pressure is. If there is a variance then obviously you have an issue upstairs at rhe pump or box. I would be hard pressed to call the cylinder bad. Also, this line you got from another dude. Is it the same size as the one you purchased?
Well just called and cancelled my interior cage. Need to hold that money in reserve in case I need to replace my steering box.
I don't know anything about ram steering and I'm sure the problem is a bigger issue but the diagram says "do not use atf" and then I saw you were using valvoline atf. does it really matter?
have you tried pulling the ram and capping the box yet

little off topic, hey Andrew, just out of curiosity, when you had tire mounted with equal. did you get new valve stems too
Each bag of equal sound come with a proprietary valve stem.
how are they rolling, are they smooth, im thinking of running this in my tires, last year I lost a few weights at mcr, had a slight vibration. this sounds like the solution
