Make a pit stop by vancouver!
glad to hear you're going to Moab still. You owe me a and I aim to collect. My truck makes noises too, good thing we're towing. See you Saturday
I'll have one of these full of nothing but
I'll have one of these full of nothing but You'll have more than one on me, mate.
Have you done the math on how many per person per day you're hauling?
A general rule of thumb for area BFE is a 30 pack per person per day
Define mating flanges? Do you mean the flared fitting? Or the NPT part? If it is on the flared fitting don't use great stuff, use a single layer of teflon tape on the tapper and tighten down. Greatstuff can not seal the pressures of a power steering system. That is why they use a flared fitting. If the fluid is hot get a bigger cooler.
Id bet that the excessive heat caused the leak.where did you mount your cooler? It's possible that the bolts weren't tight enough to begin with because I never checked them.either way, the leak can be fixed but you gotta get that temperature under control.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Afraid not. It was leaking from the moment I put it in. I just didn't realize how bad it was until yesterday.
need to go pick one of these up, then you may be able to isolate what actually is getting hot http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=thermometer
I'm pretty sure that the system has been checked out by the Toyota mechanic that's going on the trip with us using one of those. Nothing obvious was identified.
