Went to fire, have nothing, starter not even clicking, I had toy only swaps do harness, because I'm not a great electrician. I have headlights, no taillights, no blinkers, no heater fan, only thing I see working is the headlights, don't even know where to start, and my brain is so scrambled. Frustrated

That sucks bro. Wish I was there to lend a hand. I am trying to fire reeds ride. Spliced an early ignition in the Taco harness. not exactly working either. I'm getting wires mixed up cause the colors are not the same.  :hammerhead:

Those guys are great. I'm sure a call to them tomorrow will yield an answer.

OVRAROK

yeah, its pretty frustrated relying on other's work, I only had 4 wires to hook up which where self explanatory. I'm at a lost for words, hopefully cliff at toy only swaps will respond to my email tomorrow.

Dave I had a similar problem , I got nothing , I ended up having to splice an additional wire under my dash to my starter relay ,  have you tried jumping the starter directly to the battery ? I could get mine to start and run off that the first couple tries , I cut the wire that was on my ORS harness to the starter trigger and touched it the positive side of the battery with the key in the on position , fired up everytime doing that

Also make sure you have the main ground wires wired up , I forgot the one on the back of the head and it was giving me intermittent starting issues after I had it all connected then go to the back of the head to find out it was just hanging there , also I came to find out my 3rz wouldn't start without the plug on the back of the head being plugged in, the engine temp sensor for the Ecu

before I start cutting at this harness that I paid money for, ill give them I chance to respond and hopefully cure the problem, did you have any accessories work, or nothing until you cut wire, just curious

all grounds are intact, and a bit of an overkill, I'm running 2ott cables for negatives, sanded all contacts, where grounds connect too

I had lights and stereo worked and had power to the truck just when I turned the key I got nothing , no click , nothing , you can attempt to jump the starter without cutting into the harness if you want to give that a try , just take a piece of long wire and put it between the starter and battery and see if it kicks over with the key on

I would have thought because fuel lines are empty I would have heard fuel pump, so I don't think there is any power to fuel pump neither, I'm so frustrated that I have decided to walk away from it, my brain is on overload. maybe later I will see if I have 12 volts at starter, then jump to starter solenoid on starter

When you turn key to the on position is your check engine light even coming on?

When i did my swap i had one factory wire on my body harness that wasn't makeing a great connection, would cause no fuel pump, check engine light wouldn't come on before start either.

Dingman.

Alright, i just know with my swap (obviously very different) there was one main wire that was not making connection very well and it would cause it to not start, etc.  I had my starter on a toggle switch, so that worked whenever i hit the switch.

However, when the wire in my harness would not make connection, my CEL wouldn't come on before start.  The way i looked at it, the CEL comes on to let you know everything is ready before start.  I originally thought it was my ecu that was a problem as i could hit a bump hard and my truck would die and not restart.  I would kick that kickpanel where the ecu was and almost always the cel would come back on, and then it would start and run fine.  (CEL would turn off once vehicle started)

What is weird to me is I thought the body harness was unrelated to the engine harness, in the fact that the heater, taillights, etc should work regardless if that motor was even in there.   Does toy only swap just provide a harness that plugs into factory body hanress and then into the 3rz harness?

I guess what i am suggesting is to make sure all connections are good.  Also make sure there is no way you mixed up two plugs.  Kid i know just motor swapped his car and had two plugs swapped somehow and it wouldn't crank or get fuel.  :dunno:

Blaaaahhhhhhhh

1 wire was to green wire OCR, large black to injector resistor wire, and 3 of them where to color coded wires from 22re ecu plug, also small black wire to tach, and a/c amplifier, however I don't have tach(has rev limiter) or a/c. so this wire wasn't used

So after racking my brain over this, I started checking power, didn't get past the 80 amp main fuse, if you look at pic, there is nothing hooked up on fused side of this 80 amp. To the left , there are 2 red wires, and larger white wire that goes to positive on battery, but nothing on right side, yet looking around, there nothing missing, does anybody know what goes on right side. My gut tells me this may be the culprit, any help is appreciated
