Ok we have a solid date for this years Marlin Crawler West Coast Roundup. The event will be September 16-18 (fri,sat,sun) 2005. We have reserved Rubicon Springs for this event. Marlin Crawler will provide BBQ Tri-Tip dinner and drinks at the springs Saturday night. Online registration will begin in a few days. The event is free event but each truck will need to pay the usual $15 per night Rubicon Springs camping fee. The camping fee will be collected by the caretaker on site. Come on out and enjoy the trails with Marlin and the crew!

We are still moving forward with plans for an East Coast Round up this year in Tennessee but a new date for this has not been chosen yet.

New Announcement #1: We are now providing meals to the first 600 people! More people are welcomed, but please bring your own food for Saturday night in case we run out!

New Announcement #2: We will need LOTS of Fire Wood for the Grill and Bomb Fire, so if everyone can haul in some wood, then we will have a hot night for sure!

New Announcement #3: Remember: The Official CB Channel for this year's Round-Up is Channel 10!

Sounds great!
Never done the 'con...what is the minimum set-up you recommend? 33's, 35's? Lockers? Obviously rock sliders.

The minimum you need to run this trail is 33" tires, one locker, good rock sliders, good rear bumper that wraps around the sides. A crawler (tcase and/or gears) also recommended! IFS is Ok.

man oh man. I was asked to be best man for a good buddy wedding in Sep.  :hammer:  he has not set a frim date yet so I gess there's still hope for me!  the fool never gets a brake! :laugh:

Right now I have IFS and stock t-case.  I want to try to SAS or dual crawlers before this event, prolly not both, which should I do for the 'con?  I've never been there, so I am not sure which would be a better mod to make for it.

can't guarantee anything, but Mrw and I are weighing the logistics of doing the West Coast Roundup for part of our 2 week vacation.

Yep it's late there are a lot of events scheduled on the con this year. We are expecting a large group and we wanted to have it at the springs this time. This was one of just two weeks aviable. The other weekend conflicts with ProROCK.
