right now its about 26.5", thats on 39.5 iroks, will be on 40" mtrs soon and have some armor and swapping my cage from the 85 to this so that will lower it some more which is you already know me, i like my rigs slammed. so about 25 or 24" on 40s? yea ill take that anyday.

saving my pennies as we speak to fund to finish it and then gonna wheel the piss out of it and your goin with me, ive never wheeled a rig with tons and 40s. just my dinky little toyotas and 37s.

lol actually i had to drive to reno to get them.

but yea that is true, usually people with money here buy a new better set and people like me swoop up and score a good deal on the "old ones"

i have the same 37 on my 85, best tire ever made imo, but im bias as to thats the only tire i pretty ever much ran in 35s and 37s. these 4Ds are for my 1 ton runner.

also, a guy in SC has a set of new with sticker on them still 4D og mtrs for 1200 and you cover shipping if your interested.just fyi

well no hardcore fab goin on here but some progress on getting this thing wheelable for snow season,got the new 4Ds mounted, wish it was a littler lower but ill deal with that later, also got a new MC for since the one on it was totally out, this thing had no brakes and was a scary when it wouldnt stop.

made some wood side panels similar to my 85s except without the doors for storage just need to roll some bed liner on them, i just need to come up with a design for a rear tailgate latch before i cover it up with diamond plate, stock setup wont work since its gutted, pick up tailgate swap is too much work and cant find a decent one anyways.

working on a snap clear vinyl back window right now.

for the tailgate, i'd weld up sides, and handle area, put piano hinge on middle area,make door for storage, then go to junkyard and find any tailgate latch,and cut hole on outside,weld in latch, and be done with it

got some more little stuff done,

Started cutting rear fenders, not finished yet but look 100 times better then before.need to roll them under and seal them.

New rear driveline with cv  thanks to HIGH ANGLE here in paradise. so now HWY drving wont be so bad.

Also go the yukon hub spacer ring made by them as well so i have working 4wd now.

by the looks of it i will be DDing this truck since the rear diff in my 85 blew up the other night, until i get that taken care of this will truck will have to do.

its trying to kill me on a  daily basis. the output flange nut backed almost all the way off and almost lost the DL, clutch line blew and lost the clutch, exhaust fumes getting in the cab, and the solid motor/tcase mounts vibrate like mad.

still gets good mpg though!

its a wheeler acting as a dd, not cool.
