Very cool man!! How is he doing?

He was in very good spirits! has had 11 surgeries on his back in the last 3 years. His wife joked about him being 'her six million dollar man'. He was walking with a cane but it didn't seem to slow him down. He was climbing under rigs, to point things out, and up into his frieghtliner like it was nothing. He couldn't stop showing us stuff. It was great!

Longfield output. Couldn't justify paying for marlins when no one has broken one of Bobby's.

I power washed a dual case setup like that and it took 3 oil changes before there was no water to be seen in the oil.  Just a heads up.

Hahaha I was thinking that same thing while I was doing it. Good to know. Lucky for me I get to take the cases apart.  :shake:

If you buy a house with a shop you will like whatever rig you already have, the way it is, cause you will spend all your money and time on the house.  That's why I'm building a leaf sprung buggy, no money left over.

Hahaha I know. But we will see, I have filled this garage and property a little to quickly.

I was thinking of inboarding them but the propane tanks sit right inside the frame rails and I'm kinda lazy. It flexes fine for leafs and with the bed on my up travel is limited anyway.

The shackle angle is a little more than I wanted with the truck empty but I have one more leaf I can add to the pack.

Plus, you're holding the truck up by just one leaf pack.  I think it'll be good.

With the t cases bobby shaved .3 mm off the second step on the output, the gears still were binding so I took another .4 mm off the thrust washer which freed everything up.

True, but still going to trough one more leaf in.

Got the pinion angle set and the perches welded on. Measured the driveline and don't need to add any length.

You guys were right with the leaf back in and both springs it sits like it should have. Also put in a new u-joint. Now just gotta bleed the brakes, lengthen the exhaust, throw on the tires, and buy beer before the round-up.
