broke the collar off of the hydraulic pump, and bent the shaft :smack:  the jack was rated for 2 and 1/2 tons as well

Not positive but half temp sounds good to me, to cold or too hot is bad.

I wouldn't worry bout it till it sits in the redline area ;)

ok driving around in my truck, everything works fine.  Still idles weird, but hoping to get that taken care of.  However, when I start out in first, and gently ease off the clutch (like keeping my truck from rolling backward or something) my truck makes a squealing/groanin sound.  I think it is the clutch not being adjusted right.  Is this the case?  or did I screw something up badly?

sounds like a throwout bearing - feather the clutch in and out and you'll hear that if it is bad. For your sake I'd drive it till it was so bad people looked from 100 yards away to see what it is  :yupyup: .

it won't affect driving, it's the bearing on the end of the clutch fork that presses on the pressure plate to release the clutch disk when you shift. It has to get up to speed with the flywheel when it comes in contact, sometimes they kinda freeze up and squeel. By feather I mean on flat ground slowly push the clutch in and out and see if you can hear it (engine has to be running ;) )

ok thanks :thumbs:  I'll do that.  I was hoping that I didnt put the clutch on wrong.  I made sure many times that the side of the clutch disk that said flywheel side faced the flywheel
