i have  instructions as what to do  for therapy  between visits,   but basically   as bad a physical shape i was in before the accident i'm in  much worse now

Glen, this is actually very true!  People who are in good physical shape tend to heal much quicker than those who aren't.  I know how hard it is to do, trust me, but the better shape you can keep yourself in the better off you are when something bad happens.  Back injuries suck bad though, no matter what kind of shape you're in
