allright...enuf of the funny stuff... :laugh: my next project will be to install this 20R head(ported,1 mm larger SS valves,off-road cam
new aluminum rocker arms,chrome shafts)should give me some more power to work with...

What's the advantage of the Offenhouser? I have one off of another truck, but never really knew what the difference was other than it seems to be a better intake.

The Offenhouser should flow better than a stock OEM intake therefore producing more HP...
more air and fuel = HORSEPOWER...looking for anything that will help with my little Toy 22r motor..
I'll wait and see if there's any notible difference.

How did I know Alabama, but particularly, Birmingham, Alabama was going to play into this?  It seems that there is either a Confederate stronghold here or someone is indeed mocking the State of Alabama. lol

Where can one go about to get one of those offenhouser (sp) intakes at...and whats the damage to the wallet like?

Mine came from NorthWest Off-Road Specialties, it's a 4bbl adapter and it cost a lot.

I found my 20R Offenhouser on E-bay for 40$....not much of a demand for 20R parts these days..look around....I have a stock 20R intake I'd let go for(Free) 25$....let me know...

I dug up my Offenhouser today. The electrical and non-electrical connections look pretty bad. Do you know if those can be replaced? Is there a diagram or fiche that I can use to see what they are and if so, where do I get those little sensors?

Well...the truck building never ends...looking for some Horsepower these days...I have a modified 20R head ready to bolt on...
all new parts,cam,bigger valves...I'm thinking of selling the head and buying a new 150HP complete engine ...???
whats a mother to do..?.....

yea...a new 150HP motor will set me back about $4000...if i dont sell the head then it's full speed ahead..
I could get into some real trouble with 150 horsepower..stay tuned...
the fun is about to begin..
