 :flamer: well......I got the beast home and started the "clean up" portion.....cutting,grinding & sanding.....

the red stuff is glazing putty....fills small holes & cracks.....works great....easy to sand...
fills voids and small holes around welds...

yea.......had to sit on something to get it on the trailer....thinking about bolting it down permenately....

I've never heard of anyone using spot/glazing puddy around welds. being in a body shop at school i've used the stuff, but never on welds.  if you've got holes in the welds you usally want to grind em down and burn some new ones don't you?

I've used it on small pit holes on welding to. don't use it on a hole that needs to be fill, butt just so the paint goes on smooth!  :yupyup:

IT LOOKS LIKE HE IS ONLY USING IT WERE THE TUBE WAS CUT/SLEEVED/WELDED/GRINDER BACK TOGETHER! ALL IT IS DOING IS SMOOTHING OUT THE DISTORTION/PIN HOLES FROM THE GRINDING, SO IT WILL BE :bling:

Its just for filling pin holes and dings in the tubing, once its sanded down you wont even be able to see it. It just makes the finished work look nicer. For some reason I was having a hell of a time bending the right side of the truck so I sleeved it.

actually got some work done on the truck today....sanded and painted most of the interior..nice to see some color on the
inside...the donor cab(back half) was from a 82 Toy(it was blue)

 8)  :hammerhead: also bent up some 3/16" checker plate and made up a box for mounting my 2 optima's below
my tool box...tack welded it in and should work well.....
