Well....I needed to check and retighten all my bolts on the rig after sunday's rev fest...had a few bolts loose but nothin too bad..
I replaced a rear coil spring and greased the drop sleeve...the drop sleeve allows for a few extra inches of travel and make the most of the 15" bbcs shocks....gotta get ready for some serious rock crawlin at Johnson valley friday and saturday...I'll post up plenty of pics... :crazy:

Well...I survived another adventure at Johnson Valley.. :king: we got a late start on thursday and drove until 3 am and spent the nite at the rest stop in Boron about 2 hours from the hammers..

we stopped in Apple Valley at Albertsons and Wally world for some food and supplies...we hit the hammers around noon and spent the rest of the day partying,sleeping and watching rock crawling dvd's.. :smack: we did manage to get in a nite run up one of the canyons. :scared: thanks alot casey105...

I recognize that liquid. I believe it is produced on my side of the river. You don't have bad taste after all. Sounds like you guys had a blast. I want to go. Of course, I have to finish some minor things on my rig...lol.

Well...I recovered from last weekends alcohol poisining and driving marathon at the hammers so it's time to get going again on my POS...
:beerchug: i'm planning on puttting the tires & wheels together this week..it's about an hour or so to mount and tighten all the bolts on the bead lock... :nerv:

as you can see,there IS a little difference between the 42's and the 44's...these tires are scary big....... :shake_head:
I'm wondering how long my Toy trans and transfer case are going to last...  :dunno:

but before I put those big donuts on,the full hydro steer is getting installed...I finally have all the parts & pieces to put it together..
I bought a PSC pump and kit for the Toy...a very nice kit... :yesnod:

comes with a new high pressure pump and undersized pulley for maximum pressure at low rpm's...cant wait to get it on... :driving:

Well....after a reality check the 44's won't be going on the Toy.... :shakehead: I think the only thing that would happen would be a
broken main shaft or some type of major carnage to my drivetrain(trans & t-case)even with 23 spline t-cases and a turbo tranny
parts have a limit...I don't think the Toyota engineers ever dreamed of 44" tires on their trucks.I would have to lift the Toy at least another inch or 2 and would still have problems with the tires stuffing in the wheel well and also hitting my frt leaf springs during a full turn.
After running the Hammers,I felt great about the way the truck handled and worked during the weekend with the 42's..so if anyone knows of someone looking for some new 44's,have them contact me. :phone:

the hydro steering is coming along nicely..the ram is mounted  just above the front end..
