looks like i joined the 1st gen club today!

heres the story. i sold a bunch of stuff(hi steer, springs front and rear, sliders, shock hoops, very clean 22re...) to a friend of Rocko's, probably made over 1k off everything..............just bought the 1980 pick up from him with all the stuff i sold him for $500!
The front all pro 5" with 2 leafs takin out making them 3" are mounted good and done, the rears are chevys with a bad shackle angle. The engine needs to be wired up wich shouldnt be to bad.

i would like to have this wheelable somtime this summer. im building it for/with my dad wich means parts will flow alot faster than if it where for me.

Parts Needed/ To Do list

Wire the 22re
mount 22re
exhaust
Replace overlength chevys with someother 1/2 ton rear leafs
shocks all around
5 speed tranny
seats
dual cases w/ drive lines and x member
the bed is bobbed but the welds need to be ground down and finished
f/r bumpers
sliders
tube fenders and bed sides
ifs box and hydro assist
gears and lockers
35-36" tires
cromo axles
arp studs
im sure much more, but its not too bad should be om the trail in a couple months

your really lucky to have a dad that is into wheeling, my dad has an 87 extra cab that he wont let me touch unless he wants some repair done to it.

looks like a cool build too i love 1st gens.

having a girlfriend and a da that likes to wheel i have to find him an open seat, so now he has his own :pokinit:. im tapping the ifs box right now, i think im more excited than he is
