i have a question about dodge 60s. what does it take to run internal hubs (chevy style). do you have to convert the hubs over to chevy along with the stubs, or can you just buy different lockouts?

GM wheel hubs are internally splined for internal locking hubs. Dodge wheel hubs are not. They simply have the surface drilled for the external locking hubs.

If you want to run internal locking hubs or any of the aftermarket internal drive flanges, you need GM wheel hubs. They will interchange with the dodge wheel hubs no problem.

I believe you get 3/4 ton chevy rotors,  and calipers and buy a couple brackest from some company on pirate to make them work with the 60 spindles.  i forgot what company it was.  a little grinding od the calipers and you can fit 15 inch wheels.  i should be going through this here shortly.

on post 2294 you have your switchs and what not... did you make those and put the stickers over each switch or did you buy that set up

Hyena

I bought everything from www.offroadcontrols.com  it comes with stickers to put on the panels.  not as nice at 12voltguy stuff but it is good enough for me.

tap a keg and build a bumper for my runner... custom front and rear...

hahahaha...... carry on

Hyena

i had some pictures but i somehow deleted them.  o well.  got the front links done, got some free lugnuts for the rear axle so the tires are actually bolted up.  picking up a TG powersteering pump, Rockstomper master cylinder, newer brake booster and a proportioning valve on sunday all for $275.

Hyena

Got the TG PS pump bolted up.  need to mount the new reservoir and figure out all the fittings i need to get with the ram and orbital valve.  also got the master cylinder, booster and proportioning valve but i didn't unstall them yet.

Hyena

ya, get top through a bunch of money i don't have into my ford!  looks like the toyota will wait again.  thinking the CPS went out on it.  it ran like :pokinit: on the way home fromt work and had no power, then finally died.  but i did get pushed through an intersection by a CHP!  that was fun.

There is a recall on the sensors. Check here to see if your truck is covered http://www.ford.com/owner-services/customer-support/recall-information

Here's a little more info about the recall http://www.thedieselgarage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56025

I new about the recall but just didn't get around to it.  thanx for that website though!

Hyena

its only $25 for a CPS, it will probably cost more money to have it towed to Ford.  i may just pick one up and put it in myself.

Doof

:pokinit: y for sure... thats cool the CHP helped you out though

Hyena

not much new.  ordered the ram today.  going to install the brake stuff i got tomarrow.  going golfing with my dad later today!  :)
