:flamer: :_order: and we are half way there. The front hangers are done, they just need to be painted.

Tomorrow I will work on removing the rear hangers and installing the shackle bushings in the frame.

:thud: I am SO tired, I worked 11 hrs to day on 5 hrs of sleep and spent 2 hrs cutting, grinding and cutting some more on the spring mounts.

I only got one cleaned up and ready for welding. The other side will have to wait till tomorrow.

LoJack only tells a few police cars where your rig is.
AFTER you realize its gone and call them.

the GPS trackers tell YOU where your rig is, and can be set to notify you if the rig travels out of a set radius, that you can change on line anytime.

That sounds intersting, more information would be appreciated. Links to sites would be nice, thanks.

I can see it now, on the way to MC5, Mr W has probably thought about how to work on the Mammoth while MrsW is driving the LBC!   I can see it now, Mrs W radioing back to the trailer, "we are in a long straight stretch!  Get wrenching!"  The problem is I've known people to do this!

hey mark, looks great, are you going to add a brace to conect the perch to the reciever to the perch?

that might help tie the whole front end together :twocents:

:nope:

They are stronger than the frame itself. They are 1/4" plate and the old shackle brackets are still in there and welded to them. They will tear a piece out of the frame before they bend.

Does it look like it is an inch taller?

They will tear a piece out of the frame bafore they bend.
And that would be the problem.

Brace them so they don't rip off the frame (I seriously doubt they would bend)
