YEAH WHATS WITH THAT.why on your second post would you be so stupid.seriously I cant figure it out.kiefer, please speak your mind,Im sure it would make our day to talk mad to you.anywayanything new?
ok now im confsued about drivelines...what driveline should i use for my front? the IFS CV didnt seem like it could acheive nearly enough droop to work for the front...i was plannin on using the ends from an 86ish rear non CV driveline. good idea, bad idea? im going to probably have a shop build me a longspline driveline and i dont wanna end up with a shitty setup.
I used my stock 85 front drive shaft and turned it into a square drive shaft.
its got some sort of CV on it though doesnt it? i think im gettin some square stuff tomorrow
is the v/6 a pile of garbage?
nope i used ujoints from a stock rear shaft.
thast waht im plannin on using. thanksnot mine. iv got some weird idle issues but i dont have any problem pullin 75-80 down the freeway with 35s and 4,37s on all but the steepest of hills. the biggest thing that helped my V6 out was ditchin the IFS. It weighs like 3x as much as a solid axle does and i had auto hubs and my vacuum thing was broken so it was always spiinin all my running gear. I noticed a huge power increase when i switched from IFS and 30" tires to a soild axle and 35" tires.
try goin from auto to 5spd... then IFS to SA! its like letting a lion out of the cage... and I also have a HEAVY ass 4Runner too.
ask WT about his auto. He said hes found a way to make them worth having.
