Still To Do:

-Make fishplate for moving steering box

-Move steering box forward as much as i can, If i can get ir far enough i might redrill my springperches another inch forward

-Get Braided BrakelinesUsed stockers to extend em

-Wheel Spacers

-Swap my rear 3rd member to the matching(and open) 4.37s

-Rebuild knuckles driver side trunion is garbage

-Diff Armor

-Paint and Remount bed

movin it to this page so i can see it without searching

I also finally got around to solid mounting my (Kiefers) firestik. Whoever decided a megnetic moutn would work for a firestick is retarded. :slap:

i think im gonna go work on some diff armor now. i really wanna do a spider web lookin gusset or use some bar/rod but idk if i have any thats thin enough to bend. :dunno:

-Diff Armor started anyways. i noticed an decent sized dent in my front housing from the short trip i took over the weekend...which is weird because i didnt hit any rocks... :headscratch: coulda been the ice i guess or somethin buried in the mud pit...but i guess it is kinda hard to hear over 6000RPM launches while mud is raining on the whole truck :dunno: anybody know what the rev limiter is on these things?

it bounces off the rev limiter at like 7200 rpm :D

I popped my clutch while doing that one time and popped a wheelie, it was sick as hell.

awesome. thanks dude. really appreciate it
when you doing lockers and duals?
whenever i can afford it. i want to get the duals stuff around xmas time but itll probably still vhae to sit for awhile because i think realistically lookin at at least a grand to do it because i have a chain case so iv gotta buy 2 adapters and then drivelines and then skidplate.

i was thinkin about doin a single 4.7 case for now though if i can afford it. :dunno:

ill probaly try to get at least a rear locker when i gear down which will probably be next spring. these diffs are really good about locking into a posi. i had all 4 tires throwin mud when i dropped into the big mud pit. :dunno:

weld that rear diff
I ran a welded diff for quite awhile. It kicked ass offroad but it killed my tires onroad. ill probly save up til i can get an aussie or lockright for the rear and eventually one for the front or a selectable hopefully. Im gonna keep building for as long as i can but ill be going to college soon so the truck might get kinda put on hold til im out and can afford to build it up pimp.

I got a question about shocks now...Im gonna order some 5125 Bilsteins soon and Im not sure what length to order. Obviously  I can go measure so dont say that. but im wondering what length most people with a RUF setup run. I have a shitload of droop so i think im gonna need at least a 12" but are there any disadvantages to having a 14 even if i dont use it all? besides having to tap into my inner fender to mount it... :dunno:

I just built a square. I did some basic measuring and it showed me that having a reliable shaft (wont fall out at any combo of flex, full droop, etc) would require more than a stock slip can handle. So i bought 2' of each type of square needed and following MiniSimp's writeup built my square shaft. It feels like its good to about 45mph so for now thats plenty. I only ended up using about 12" of each for the shaft so if I had measured correctly or been less cautions when cutting the driveshaft down I would have had enough to build a spare shaft.

she kinda supports it. we used to have a CJ5 and went out on family wheeling/camping trips.

I got the bearings today Heath. Thanks dude. really appreciate it. LEt me know about those shocks.

I got the front end all torn apart and theres a sweet groove in the side of my birf from where one of the actual bearings got lodge between the housing and tried to bind up while i was wheeling. Ill try to take a pic of it.
