I got the rear 4.37s swapped in. Im hopefully gonna make enough money tomorrow to buy the square driveline stuff (86BT) and buy trunion bearings for the drivers side. If i get time friday morning or tomorrow afternoon Ill start on my shock towers and then ill be ready to do some wheelin and testin to make sure im ready for winter time. :woohoo:

I forgot how nice it was to drive with an open diff and waht it felt like to be able to make a sharp turn.

I also took a closer look at my welded third. It looks like the welds broke but there was sooo much weld that it couldn't turn over so it stayed locked. :hahaha: That would explain all the :pokinit: stuck to the drain plug magnet.

ok now im confsued about drivelines...what driveline should i use for my front? the IFS CV didnt seem like it could acheive nearly enough droop to work for the front...i was plannin on using the ends from an 86ish rear non CV driveline. good idea, bad idea? im going to probably have a shop build me a longspline driveline and i dont wanna end up with a shitty setup. :help:

Nope, IFS Front DL's are Double CV.

is the v/6 a pile of garbage?

Hit and Miss engines.
the exhaust causes alot of problems though.
if its well maintained and and the HG's are replaced.
should be just fine.

Mine serves it's purpose and will run circles around the 22RE's I've had.

thast waht im plannin on using. thanks
is the v/6 a pile of garbage?
not mine. iv got some weird idle issues but i dont have any problem pullin 75-80 down the freeway with 35s and 4,37s on all but the steepest of hills. :dunno:

the biggest thing that helped my V6 out was ditchin the IFS. It weighs like 3x as much as a solid axle does and i had auto hubs and my vacuum thing was broken so it was always spiinin all my running gear. I noticed a huge power increase when i switched from IFS and 30" tires to a soild axle and 35" tires.

yeah alot of supra guys redo the valve body and whatnot on the 7MG(T)E Autos.
I just like having a 5Speed, the Autos are geared way too high IMHO for these 4x4s
