i know. i've got to put braided lines on the front and upgrade to an 80 series master cylinder so when I have those ready to go in i will pull the axle out and redrill the perch so i only have to bleed my brakes once. truck won't be back on the road till mid april anyways. not theres any trouble with driving it on the street how it is.

Thanks, I watch you build alot, i'd like to keep my truck as low as possible. when i was mounting the box i went through your build thread to see how you mounted it. TOOK FOREVER TO FIND THE PAGE lol.

I myself could raise my motor about 1" with out a body lift but my tranny/tcase is another story

Im concerned that if i move my axle forward my driveshaft wont have any extension.
have you had any troubles like that.

I really need to move it forward.

I moved mine forward 2" and just took 2 female slips and made one longer one works great

got any pictures? how did you keep it even?  i have a spare ds sitting in my bed right now. this sounds like a pretty good idea. Are you concerned about your welds breaking?

My square shaft is good to about 45 before the vibes get too bad to go faster. For a $25 shaft tahts not too bad.

my welds are strong and not worried at all I kept it straight by putting the mail splines inside to keep it aligned

that does look like ut would work.

i like the idea of have i stronger shaft with more travel.

So who are you all using for flat pitman arms? I am thinking about doing this, but the Sky arm I have been looking at has had some strange reviews concerning it being too short. Are you guys making your own frame plates/steering box mounts? Or buying them? Just curious. Thanks.
