I was agreeing with you, the 2nd gens sport a longer wb and the body is a little wider too. Not much difference but enough to make a noticeable difference and those 2 extra doors help with that feeling too.

I was under the impression they shared the same WB as the 1st Gen 4Runner.
My bad, I take the sarcasism back.

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

well, its a helluva alot thicker then what toyota used, and thats the standard tube the company used, so ill run it
if there is a problem later, which i highly doubt, i will sleeve them. this rig is not really being built as a "rock crawler ", but more of a family expedition rig/explorer, ect.

nether do i, toyta uses some weird metric tube, it is really thin, it looks about half as thick as the new ones without getting out the micrometre- either way im happy with em so far, and will install them and work on relocating the axle back a few inches tommarow

drove her for the first time, coils feel weird, squishy...

also made bumpstops and lengthened the sway bar links
