no it came out of the forks and i had to shift into 4wd with a screw driver

So it came out of the forks, but the shifter didnt actually pop out of the cover plate?

ya it just came out of the forks so i had to pull the whole thing off and shift and bolt it back on

pumkin toy

thats weird, never heard of that.  I dont understand how it could come out of the forks without the whole shifter popping out...weird.  Could a small keystock be welded in somewhere to help prevent that?  idk if that would work at all, cant picture it in m head right now.

the dual quads where just a little too much for it so i stepped down to on single deamon 650 with a victor Jr then i decided to build my heads and now i am running a weand team G intake with a 750 holly dual feed with a trick kit i punched my heads out to 2.02s and put screw in studs and guide plates.1.5 rollor rockers .110 over i belive push rods, comp 292, 505 cam
its bored .60 over with forged keith black piston tops a bunch of stuff for sure in the last month i have thrown around a grand at it and that didnt include any engine work or anything under the carb and between me and my buddy we have done all the work so the grand in just parts lo labor
