i would probly keep the 38's too.  idk why but when iroks get a bit used they look like they are almost bald already. its really wierd, i think its because the lugs are kinda skinny and they are spaced so far apart.  42's is really pushin it for toy axles! i just ordered some 40" mtr's and i'm kinda worried about them putting alot of stress on my parts.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

the iroks only come with like 24/32 of tread brand new which isnt that much compared to some others. i got my iroks at about 50% and they work really good when its dry on rocks. now their getting bald but they still work pretty good. definetly not a mud tire. 42's are pretty big, but it all depends on what you want to run. if you drive it alot then iroks arent the best choice either  :twocents:..my opinion is if daily driven 38's, if not go big

pumkin toy

yeah you deffinately dont want to drive iroks on the highway! they wont last long! thats why i bought 40" MTRs   i need somethin good on the road too

for sure I am about to finish my trailer up in the next week thats why its so hard to decide If I was going to drive it at all I wouldn't even conisder it haha. I know the kid that has them pretty well so ill probably just run them a couple trips see how i like them and go from there. I just can't justify spending the time with my bead locks again and not liking them.

42's= goodbye dirty 30s

I wouldnt be worried about the dirty 30's. Those 5.29's wont last more than a couple trips, Ive seen a 3rd get ripped out of the housing with all the studs running 40" irocs. he was definately gettin it, but usually bigger tires=mo problems. Unless you got tons or rocks. Not to mention your putting more stress on your in/output shafts, drivelines, etc.

Just sipe your 38's. Ill bet you'd fall in love with them all over again.

hahahaha.. idk your truck wheels good on 38's and what we wheel you dont need anything bigger. i mean bigger tires will look cooler and make it so you dont diff out as much but in my eyes 38's to 4dz are fine for over here. i rock 35's and go where trucks on 4dz go... its just a matter of picking your line my friend. but i dont think the dirty 30s will break there pretty bullet proof... and the have a lifetime warrenty... so break them and get a new set haha. 42's on toy axels are crazy lookin though!

89sastoyo

yeah im not getting them they were on way to wide of a wheel for my liking and I dont know ill probably just sipe mine or trade and some cash for some 4ds I just dont like having tires to long i like to get them wheel em trade them for some with better trade or the same and work my tires around so i never have to buy new ones:D hah. and I want Iroks for the snow season.

Oh yeah and I put a new kenwood deck and infinity 4 inchers in the dash eliminated my trashed door speaks. I also put a new heater switch in it so my heat cranks now. I am debating on the tunnel I dont know if I want a clocked adaptor or not so its in the air. I dont wanna build it then change it but I dont really like it empty, its got carpet so its not that bad but still. My main priority is my trailer now I rebuilding my 16ft beaver tail trailler. Its tandem 3500LBS axles with breaks 4" channel frame yada yada. I got it and it needed a deck and fenders took the deck off and all the cross members were bent it had 1/8th inch angle on it so I bought 3/16s and built it a little better with all 2ft centers and strenghtend up the beavertail. Im going to mount all new leds and some other fancy stuff so I have been pretty busy with that.

Now you can bump the Miley even louder....lol
Na your truck works great how it is!

GrenadedToy

just keep your regular adapter, going through all that work again for an extra 10* degrees of clearance doesnt seem worth it to me.

the only reason I want to do it is because its worth it to get a flat belly im all of a 1/2" from being flat and I can't raise my cases any higher because they hit the fire wall lol. But im just going to run spacers on my belly pan to compensate for how low the cases hang down.

uhm yeah ill post one up its to cold right now in my shop to be motivated for anything but heres what it looks likes as of now.

Also i dont remember if I posted this but the fenders are removable and im going to put a turn buckle type thing in the center to keep tension on them so they dont vibrate and wiggle. They are suprisingly easy to get on and off as well.

I im going to make steps in front and behind the fenders and the ones behind are where my tail lights going, I got all LED lights the ones that are in rubber gromets so it will be flush with it i should have that done soon.

A buddy dropped his truck off at the shop today im doing his duals and building him a cross member and some other stuff so I think ill get those steps done before I pull the trailer out and after that it will just need paint then wire all the lights up I mocked them all up and they fit to all the existing ones except the tail lights i have running across the back so other then those I can just bolt them all up when its painted. I also have a small saw mill and property that had some big firs that fell so im going to cut my own deck..
