86bobbedtoy

they are hurting for money right now.
its not the mudflap thing as much as an excuse to get you pulled over.
there praying you dont have a lisc. or ins.
there both over 1000 tickets.
sucks tho, wish they would focus on things a lil more important.

Im about to get another rig but hate getting harassed.

oroville police, dont know why he was headed up clark, must have had better things to do than pull me over i guess.

Dingman.

yea i got popped by chp...

So i need to get these things fabbed up and ready to go so i can get this signed off and taken care of..

So i got some new mods done to my stereo system..  Much better now....  lol

Dingman.

So ran into something else..  :tantrum:
Broke my lockrite.  As in it doesn't unlock anymore.  Anyone else run into this problem?  Pretty sure i broke the sheer pins, which is a common problem.  ANyways.  Good/Bad idea to drive on it like this for a while?

HOnestly id rather have a spool but don't have the time nor money to install one right now.

Dingman.

So i listened to what people where telling me about particals being in the diff which could break the gears.  So I decided to just pull the diff, remove the locker and weld it up.

Just got the diff out.  Too late though,  Ring gear is already shot..

Anyone got a cheap 5.29?

Dingman.

Yukon 5.29's..

New as of november..

No damage to pinion..  Only one ring gear tooth sheered off.  No particles from the locker floating around.  I wonder if it was just a defective ring gear???

Go buy a set of gears that have a lifetime warranty like Genuine Gear or something like that. Saves you money in the long run.

Dude im getting so sick of this truck..  Im tempted to get rid of it.

I broke my fawking lockright pulling into thomas's driveway, coasting in neutral..
So i pulled my diff to pull out the locker and found the broken tooth..

So now i got a 4.10 in the back, which BLOWS.....

P-DiseToy24

That sucks you should let me borrow that 3rd with the 5'29s for moon rocks in 2 weeks just as a spare.

Dingman.

I want to have new gears by then..

If i don't you can take it for a spare..

Dingman.

Yeah they just raised the fees recently too. My first mudflap ticket was only like 12 or 15 bucks, second one was 25

Lower that thing man I wish I could take my  :gay: body lift off but like mike was sayin my whole cage and everything is built around my lift.

Dingman.

Well kc..  im planning on sending out my R& P tomorrow to get warrantied, i was just gonna hold off on sending it out cause i thought moonrocks was this weekend. , so unfortunately that wont be available for a spare.

P-DiseToy24

Dingman.

So i bought a welded diff and threw it in..

I prefer it compared to the lockright out back..  With the lockright, it got pretty unpredictable sometimes..  For example.. around turns or sometimes while shifting it would unlock and feel a little squirly in the back.

I can tell you right now.. the additional tire wear with the welded diff won't make me happy.. lol..

I can't wait to go to the chp office to get my fix it tickets signed off and squeak out of the parking lot...  that will be fun.. :dunno:
