Well come on mayne, let me know whats going on and we can start!!!!!!!!!

I told thomas we needed to get his sliders on tonight but he wimped out for some weird reason.. :stopit:

Dingman.

Here is some pics from our camping/wheeling trip this weekend.

Did some night wheeling out to the camp site, then wheeled starting this morning.

Was having some good fun, then.... we had to fix bobby's truck, still fun i guess.  lol

Finally ready to get out of there.

Im not gonna lie, BOB is a savage.  Mobbing the :pokinit: out of his rig even with only 1 knuckle stud and a ratchet strap holding it together.

First run on the chevy's out back.
Everything went good except i almost lost a shackle from a nut falling off, but we caught that before anything happened.

I wish we took some more pics but that is all we got. Maybe bob's got more.

Not sure on the details on bob's rig.  We are going to tear it apart soon hopefully.

No fishing, bob wanted to go check out Morris, but he broke beforehand.

Thomas P

you need to at least scope it out and watch some people climb it so you can get your line picked out!

 I've been reading a lot of threads about adding the 63" chevies. I have a 1st gen and it's a kidney buster. Even with added weight of your runner, the springs still look good. I'm gonna get to the junk yard and locate me some and throw'em on. Good job, by the way

Thank you.

I am running a 2wd chevy pack, with an additional leaf out of a 4wd pack, a leaf out of something else, and a 2" block.  Along with 7" shackles, eye to eye.

Sits level, how i like it!

Wanted to post these up,  Made these from scratch for my rear shackle hangars.  Pretty easy, took some scrap square tubing and left over tubing from my sliders and made them.

Dingman.

idk just looking for ideas on what to shoot for next.

Of course there is the essentials that i want..

Upgraded parts, etc...  But just a general ideal.

PLUS i didn't have anything else to do for a title!  lol

Dingman.

nope i won't do it.

Ill take pics of those 4d's on my truck though!

I vote duals or longs, probably longs first since you are locked in the front

My 0.02$:
You're basically set for now to head up to the high lakes and camp and do whatever. Your main priority should be getting a better set of tires if you're going to be driving the runner a lot. Next thing after that I would consider is Longfields, just to have that peace of mind that you're not gonna be busting birfs.

Now as far as rubicon ready... you'll probably wanna save for duals and some more caging/armor.

And then just for a cheaper project I would agree with Thomas on getting some on-board air going.

Also keep looking for that manual ECU. Also I would consider getting an Optima or some kinda gel battery. Which reminds me... your next projects needs to be making a dang battery hold-down.

Eventually you're gonna wanna do something about those rear shocks too. Maybe remount them up so more shock is exposed, so they aren't bottoming out all the time.
