driver side knuckle apart, one trunion (bottom) cane out in pieces, top was not in very good shape. axle looks good. cleaning off the sludge now, pics up soon.

ordered some parts, backing plate eliminator and some other things. bought some more degrease and stuff, and working on getting the old inner seal out. i think tomorrow im gonna start tearing down the other side, then its front locker time.

i got a detroit ez locker, but its used and i need to install it to make sure its workin, it should but i wont know till its in. then ill be locked front and rear, and really start to break stuff.

well, its all cleaned up pretty well, and there is a lil wear and tear because of lack of bearings, but no cracking, just a couple of gashes. tomorrow im gonna start tear down and clean up of the other side, maybe even get the diff out, we shall see how much i get done. i have sunday off too, so i forsee this being hight on my priority list, that and cleaning up the garage after im done.
